Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of skillsandservers.com (the "Site") and its content. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Acceptable use

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. In particular, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, mass-download, or systematically copy the Site's content without our written permission. (One-off copying for personal reference is fine — but building a competing directory from our data is not.)
  • Attempt to access parts of the Site that are not intended to be public.
  • Attempt to disrupt or overload the Site (DDoS, crawler abuse, bot traffic beyond reasonable indexing).
  • Post malicious content, malware, or links that expose users to malware.
  • Impersonate our editorial team or misrepresent your affiliation with the Site.
  • Use the Site to violate any applicable law or third-party right.

Our content and intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, images, code samples, curated directory data — is © 2026 Skills and Servers unless otherwise noted. Third-party trademarks (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Meta Llama, and others) belong to their respective owners; we use them for identification only.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to view the Site in a browser and to quote short excerpts with a link back for editorial or educational purposes. Any other use — including republishing, mirroring, or training AI models on our content — requires our prior written permission.

Code samples specifically: unless a page explicitly states otherwise, code snippets we publish are released under the MIT licence. Use them freely in your projects, with or without attribution.

User contributions

If you submit a Skill, MCP server, correction, or comment (via GitHub, Giscus, our contribute flow, or email), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, edit, and distribute your contribution as part of the Site. You keep ownership of your original work.

You represent that your contribution is your own or is properly licensed, does not infringe anyone's rights, and does not violate our acceptable-use rules above.

The Site links to third-party websites, GitHub repositories, MCP servers, and AI provider documentation. We are not responsible for the content, security, or availability of any third-party resource we link to. Follow those links at your own risk and review their own terms and privacy notices.

Where we use affiliate links, this is disclosed per our Advertising Disclosure.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
  • Every code sample or MCP configuration will work in every environment.
  • Every fact remains accurate over time — the AI ecosystem changes fast; we refresh but cannot guarantee freshness of every entry every day.
  • Any Skill or MCP server we catalogue is fit for your particular use case.

See our full Disclaimer for more detail on the limits of our editorial guidance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skills and Servers, its team, contributors, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from your use of the Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site is limited to USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Skills and Servers and its team from any claims, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any third-party right.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law — will survive.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our operating team is based, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

Template note: Before publishing, replace this section with your specific governing jurisdiction and (if applicable) arbitration clause. We strongly recommend a licenced lawyer in your jurisdiction review this Terms of Service before you rely on it in production.
